Scott Sackett Now Teaching At The Rim!
One of America’s Top Ranked Golf Instructors, Scott Sackett of Phoenix, AZ, Announces New Business Partnership
PHOENIX, AZ – April 20, 2009 – Scott Sackett, GOLF Magazine’s “Top 100 Teachers” and Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers” has announced his new partnership with the No. 1 rated residential golf course in the Southwest. The Rim Club in Payson, AZ, is Golfweek Magazine’s Southwest’s top choice for three years in the row and is No. 1 in Arizona. Starting April 25, 2009, Scott Sackett will be holding private lessons and golf clinics at The Rim up to four days a week during the summer months. For the first time, this exclusive “members only” par-71 course, will allow students to not only take private lessons at the course with breathtaking views of the Mongolian Rim, but as the new Director of Instruction, Sackett’s students will also have the luxury of playing The Rim Club.
Bobby Trunzo, Director of Golf, at The Rim, states,” We are very excited having Scott on our team. He not only brings to our members his state-of-the-art teaching but also brings class and professionalism. We know his students visiting The Rim for the first time, will love the course.” The Rim Club Golf Club is approximately an hour and fifteen-minute drive from the Phoenix’s Sky Harbor Airport going north on the scenic Beeline Highway, State Route 87.
Sackett’s new program will include one-hour private lessons for adults at $110 an hour and $85 for juniors, as well as Golf Schools, Corporate Events, and hosting all of The Rim members’ clinics. “You will never experience more beautiful views during a round of golf,” Sackett claims. “As beautiful as the course is, it is still a very playable course. I’m excited about sharing the love of golf and the beauty of The Rim with my students.”
Sackett, the Director of Instruction at the PGA Tour Golf Academy (2001-2007) has made numerous appearances on The Golf Channel, PGA Tour Sunday, CBS network's PGA Tour, MSNBC and more. He is also a contributing editor for GOLF Magazine and has written hundreds of articles for USA Today, Men's Health, Golf Week, PGATOUR.com, GolfOnline.com, AZ Golfer Newspaper and more. He is one of four golfers who has made the cover of both GOLF Magazine and the Wheaties cereal box (others are Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods). Sackett teaches at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ.
